On Saturday morning, more than 40 Elizabeth Warren volunteers gathered in front of the library my hometown of Wakefield to join one of 57 canvasses happening across the state.

State Senator Katherine Clark welcomed all the volunteers and thanked them for their work, and the group of us ā ranging in age from about 18 to 80 ā began to knock on doors.

By the end of the day, we reached our goal of knocking on 1000 doors in Wakefield.
We were particularly lucky to have on hand our local team member Jackie Millinor, who came out even though she just had a knee replaced, and Eleanor Ixchel, who took extra addresses to canvass later in the week. “I go every day at about 6pm,” Eleanor said. “Iām slow, but I am steady. As Katherine Clark said earlier, ‘This is how we are going to win.'”
