U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., will make a campaign stop on Cape Cod on Saturday to discuss the opioid addiction crisis.

Warren, who will be joined by a panel of experts, will host a “community conversation” starting at noon at Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, 351 Pleasant Lake Ave. in Harwich.

Warren will discuss her plans to address the opioid crisis and will take questions from the audience.

Warren has introduced legislation with U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., to give local communities the resources needed to provide treatment and care for those affected by the crisis — similar to how the federal government approached the HIV/AIDS epidemic, according to a statement issued by Warren’s office Thursday.
