Marching with more than 200 supporters, Elizabeth Warren went to the Marlborough Labor Day last Monday.
Surrounded by supporters from neighboring towns as well as Marlborough, the crowd chanted, “We Love Liz,” as they marched.
Tara Alves of Framingham came out to march with Elizabeth and brought her two eight year old girls. “She’s such a great role model. I want my children to grow up in the world Elizabeth wants for them, full of opportunity. As a mom, I am volunteering for their future,” she said.
Peter Forbes of Maynard marched because he believes Elizabeth is concerned with what matters to him. He said, “I don’t expect miracles from government, or from anyone, but Scott Brown isn’t interested in people like me, the middle class. He looks after Wall Street and the big oil companies, not me.”
