Although the U.S. Senate passed legislation this week to relax restrictions imposed on large and small banks in wake of the 2008 financial crisis, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren pledged to continue fighting the bill and pushing for financial industry regulations in the 2018 congressional election cycle.

The Massachusetts Democrat, who railed against the bipartisan-backed bill in a series of Senate floor speeches, social media posts and news conferences, said while “big banks and their lobbyists won this round” the fight is not over yet.
