U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren urged federal regulators this week to detail how common sexual harassment is in the financial services industry — a sector which she argued has had relatively few public reports of such behavior. 

The Massachusetts Democrat, in a pair of Thursday letters, asked officials with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Securities and Exchange Commission to provide information on how often sexual harassment — an issue which has gained national attention in recent months — occurs in the financial sector.
